It isn't what we write
It isn't what we say
Its how we feel deep inside
As we think of you today

Each time we look at your picture
You seem to smile and say
Don't be sad but courage take
And love each other for my sake

We your family miss you
In the house where you used to be
We wanted so much to keep you
But God willed it not to be
Now you are in God's keeping
You suffer no more pain
So dear God take care of them
Until we meet again

They say it's a beautiful journey
From the old world to the new
Someday we'll make that journey
Which will lead us straight to you
And when we reach that garden
In which there is no pain
We'll put our arms around you
And never part again

A special person, a special face. Someone we love and can't replace Never selfish, always kind, These are the memories he left behind....

If I could turn back the clock, That's just what I would do And I would live again those happy years That I shared with you...

There are some we meet in passing And forget as soon as they go. There are some we remember with pleasure And feel honored and privileged to know You were that kind of person Who leaves beautiful memories behind And there will be many days Which will bring fond memories to mind....

They say there is a reason They say that time will heal But neither time nor reason
Will change the way we feel For no-one knows the heartache That lies behind our smiles No-one knows how many times
We have broken down and cried We want to tell you something So there won't be any doubt You're so wonderful to think of
But so hard to be without u.

Remember Me!

Remember me when I am gone away
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you planned:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For, if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

When I die...

When I die

when my coffin

is being taken out

you must never think

i am missing this world

don't shed any tears

don't lament or

feel sorry

i'm not falling

into a monster's abyss

when you see

my corpse is being carried

don't cry for my leaving

i'm not leaving

i'm arriving at eternal love

when you leave me

in the grave

don't say goodbye

remember a grave is

only a curtain

for the paradise behind

you'll only see me

descending into a grave

now watch me rise

how can there be an end

when the sun sets or

the moon goes down

 it looks like the end

it seems like a sunset

but in reality it is a dawn

when the grave locks you up

that is when your soul is freed

have you ever seen

a seed fallen to earth

not rise with a new life

why should you doubt the rise

of a seed named human

have you ever seen

a bucket lowered into a well

coming back empty

why lament for a soul

when it can come back

like Joseph from the well

when for the last time

you close your mouth

your words and soul

will belong to the world of

no place no time

Attitude toward Death

Live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about his religion.

Respect others in their views and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life,

beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and of service to your people. Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide. Always give a word or sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, or even a stranger, if in a lonely place.

Show respect to all people, but grovel to none.

When you rise in the morning, give thanks for the light, for your life, for your strength. Give thanks for your food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason to give thanks, the fault lies in yourself. Touch not the poisonous firewater that makes wise ones turn to fools and robs the spirit of its vision. When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death,

so that when their time comes they weep and pray

for a little more time to live their lives over again

in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.

My Great-Grand Father hailed from Mamood (Mandur) Family in Chengannur; the extreme eastern part of Alappuzha district. He was only two years old when his Father  passed away. Soon after this; during early 1850's he along with his mother, brothers & sisters moved from Chengannur to Kozhenchery and bought a plot of land near the bank of River Pampa adjacent to the Kozhencherry Bridge When my Great Grand Father matured; he started agricultural & trading activity to sustain his family. Great Grandfather was married to Mariamma of Meprathu family, Kuriannor. They were blessed with 8 Children. He was doing a very successful wholesale business in Kozhencherry market  He traded on pepper, copra, corn and rice. When his business flourished  more he sold his kozhenchery land and moved along with his family to his newly bought property & below mentioned Tharavadu house in Mannamaruthy near Ranny. "This brings a special thank you
For the things you've done for me
The times when you were patient
When you didn't have to be
For the days that you made brighter
With the sunshine of your smile,
The words of warm encouragement
That made each dream worthwhile
And while I've left out many things
For which my thanks are due
These things are always in my heart
Next to my love for you."

"I hear his voice in the silent hours
When the house is very still
And feel the touch of his unseen hand
Guiding and helping me still.

In secret I weep, in silence I cry
As each lonely hour and day passes by

There's only one thought that eases my pain

And it's knowing that we'll be together again."
